What does the claim preparation cost include? Briefly, the claim preparation cost covers the entire process from registration to receiving the small claims document. The preparation cost alone is NIS 299. You can preview the system and a sample final claim document on the page “How it Works“.
What is the court fee? According to Small Claims Court (Procedure) Regulations, 5737-1976, a fee payment is a condition for opening a case. By law, the fee is 1% of the claim amount or NIS 50, whichever is higher. That is, for claims up to NIS 5,000, the fee will be NIS 50. For claims of NIS 5,001 and above, the fee will be 1% of the claim amount. If the calculated fee is not a multiple of 5, it will be rounded up to the nearest multiple of 5. For example, a fee of NIS 87.5 will be rounded up to NIS 90. If you choose to use our service, we will collect and pay the court fee for you when the case is opened.
What do the courier fees include? The courier service includes several components. First, printing: for physical filing, the claim document and annexes must be printed in 3 copies. Next, we proceed to the court clerk’s office to pay the filing fee. Then, a legal courier will submit the small claims document and receive temporary proof of submission (temporary receipt). Finally, we will send you the proof of submission and the fee payment receipt.
